Beer and Chocolate - really? I have to admit, having never paired the two, I was a bit skeptical but intrigued. I'm happy to report, after attending this event, I'm now a true believer that this combination can be downright amazing! Hats off to Cristina, at Shocolaate, for making some incredible winter-themed chocolates, and James Retzler, at World of Beer (Clematis Street), for pairing some unique beers that truly enhanced the experience to an unexpected level of indulgence. French Toast and Pumpkin Pie chocolates paired with Left Hand Beer Week Sauce Porter. Smores and Gingerbread Man chocolates paired with Left Hand Milk Stout.
